About Me
My hometown is a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Ask me about Chicago and I will talk for hours about how it is the best city in the world. I love my family very much, and have a younger sister Sarah who is a freshman in high school. I have been a dancer and have played piano for as long as I can remember. I love green peas and black olives and my favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip. I can wiggle my ears and touch my tongue to my nose. I am a new member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, and I am rarely in a bad mood.
Education Goals
I am currently on track to major in Mechanical Engineering, and am still deciding on a minor. I will probably choose environmental policy, economics, Spanish, or physics. I also want to study abroad and participate in DukeEngage.

MATLAB Demonstrations
My favorite MATLAB demonstration is "Examples of Images and Colormaps" under the "Graphics" tab. I think this one is interesting because you can manipulate the way that each object is viewed, and see the objects from different perspectives. The objects look drastically different with each colormap.
