Favorite MATLAB Demo
My favorite MATLAB demo was the "Loma Prieta Earthquake" demo. I especially like this one because it showed a real-world example of how gathered data can be used and displayed in a "professional" manner by using MATLAB. It offers a look into a real-world usage of MATLAB by engineers. It's also cool to see how all that code (and comments!) come together to produce a meaningful picture.
