MATLAB Demonstrations
My favorite demonstration was by far the 3D Plot example. Not only are the graphs visually appealing, they bring a sense of relevance to the course. Before, I have seen plots such as these on presentations given by professionals in STEM fields. Now, I have a means by which to publish my own graphs and appear as a professional in a STEM field. Otherwise, I was pleased to see that MATLAB allows some artistic liberty to its users--listing multiple options as to display color, shape of contour lines, etc. The program is beautiful, and this demo portrayed it as such.
