My name is a pretty easy one to pronounce. It is said exactly how it is spelled: Noah Davis.
Current Courses
I am currently enrolled in four classes: -EGR 103 -MATH 122L -CHEM 110 -PSY 102
Research
I hope to get involved in many different research projects here at Duke, since that was a huge area of interest for me in the past. As the year goes on I will look into different research projects currently going on and hopefully involve myself in one or a few of them.

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration
My favorite MATLAB demonstration was the one titled FTT for Spectral Analysis. This one immediately caught my attention because I have worked with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy in the past. I enjoyed this one a lot because I could actually see the importance of it. Many of the demonstrations seemed cool, but went way over my head. This one made sense to me and seemed very practical, given that I have seen its use firsthand. Additionally, the coding to do this was not too complicated. This was one of the few demonstrations that I felt I could adequately do on my own and actual understand what was going on. Essentially it was just making a plot, which we have already done before. So I would say overall, for its practicality and ease, the FTT for Spectral Analysis was my favorite demonstration.
