MATLAB Demonstrations

I enjoyed many of the MATLAB demonstrations. However, my favorite MATLAB demonstration was the Loma Prieta Earthquake. This example demonstrated the practical applications of MATLAB, as it showed how real world data can be visualized and analyzed by MATLAB. Using a relatively small amount of code, the program was able to plot acceleration and integrate it to find velocity and position. In addition, the program created 2-D and 3-D views of the data. The fact that a single MATLAB program can be this versatile is fascinating to me.
