I am a member of the Class of 2015. I am majoring in biomedical engineering while also fulfilling the pre-med requirements. Emily Briere shaves her goatee every other day, and her little has horrible taste in men.
Name Pronunciation
Kyle Bhatia - I usually pronounce my name as "Kyle BOT-ia," said like roBOT and the "ia" like KorEA. However, I sometimes say "Ba-TEE-a," also. I can't pronounce it correctly myself as I don't have the necessary Indian accent. It's really up to you how you pronounce it.
Interests
I'm from Chicago and am a fan of all the Chicago teams except for the Cubs. I love to play soccer and fish.

Matlab Demonstrations
My favorite demonstration was "Viewing a Penny." I thought that the way Matlab was able to create a plot of the penny with brightness being proportional to height was really interesting. I had never truly thought about how each small contour in a penny contributes to the overall image. I had also never realized that the thinnest parts of a penny are the areas directly to the right and left of Lincoln's head and neck.
