Introduction

Hello everyone at Duke, Prattstars and Trinity students alike! My name is Ji-Ho Park, a proud member of the Duke Class of 2016. I am currently a wishful BME/Polisci double major with absolutely no idea what I want to do with such a diploma. EGR 103 at Duke is my first experience with programming or anything of the sort so it has been quite interesting so far. I'm very excited for the rest of the year!

Let's go Duke!

Favorite Demo

I'd say my favorite demo on the Help/Demo section of MATLAB would be the MineSweeper demo. It's such a basic game to play, but I never imagined that a program like MATLAB, which I thought was math-computational based, could perform technical, actually fun/game-programming. I took a look at the code, and was also fascinated by how complicated, but so elegant the programming ended up being. The graphical aspect to it was also unexpected, because I imagined some drab, lacking game of minesweeper, but everything was there. At this point, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what I can learn to do with MATLAb, because its flexibility seems to be very high.
