My favorite tutorial was character strings. While it wasn't the most interesting, it's a topic that is very important for future labs, as we will be called on time and time again to print something out. Also, the way one creates and utilizes a string wasn't necessarily intuitive, for me at least, so seeing it used effectively and correctly was extremely helpful.
My name is Tom Haliday, pronounced Tom (rhyming with bomb) Howl-ee-day. My last name is similar to holiday, but substitute an 'a' for the 'o'.
