I am a freshman undergraduate in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I am planning on majoring in Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track with a possible minor in dance. I am from Melbourne, Florida where it is sunny and hot 24/7. It is safe to say that I enjoy the weather in North Carolina much more! I live in Pegram but you can mostly find me in Blackwell with the third floor Pratt Boys.

My name, "Lauren Paylor," is pronounced "Law-rin Pay-lur." Most people say "Lohr-en Pay-lur," or even "Tay-lur," but this is false.

MATLAB Demonstration
My favorite MATLAB demonstration was definitely Minesweeper. I grew up playing Minesweeper whenever I was extremely bored so to see the game featured as a demo was definitely a blast from the past. I had absolutely no idea that MATLAB could create an intricate game and/or program such as this! After reading the code that runs the game, I am now very interested in learning how to create something like that myself.
