Webster Bei Yijie was originally named Bei Yijie (贝翼杰 in Chinese). The alias "Webster" was taken up to avoid confusion when Yijie found out that there was another Yijie in his class as he went on to high school. Almost every person who speaks the English language has heard of Webster because there is a dictionary Merriam-Webster Dictionary named after him (or is he named after a dictionary?).

Interest

Webster has numerous interests. From music to skateboarding, to tennis tennis and programming, there is nothing that he genuinely dislikes.

Education

Webster has received education in China and Singapore, and is currently a student at Duke Pratt School of Engineering.

Webster maintains a personal (and collaborative) website, with most of the articles on it in Chinese. Currently, there are two persons who irregularly update the site: Webster and Wu Ziyu with whom he shares similar view points but has different values. They often chat online to discuss matter that is of interest. http://datinker.com
