Grand Challenges for Engineering Article

This article addresses the Grand Challenge for Engineering of reverse-engineering the brain and talks about work being done by David Adler to create a map of the brain of a fruit fly in order to understand exactly how it functions. Adler sees this as the first stage towards creating a map of the human brain, and eventually even being able to recreate it.

Favorite MATLAB Demonstrations

My favorite MATLAB demonstrations were all the ones under the graphics section that showed 3-D plots and all of the ones in the gallery section. I think they look really cool and I am interested to see what the code that makes them means. I especially liked the "vibrating logo" example.
