Hello, my name is Luke Meredith and I am from Seattle, Washington hence the name. I am a freshman in 2021 and currently planning on majoring in Civil Engineering. I also currently dance ballet at Duke.

Grand Challenges

The Grand Challenge I found the most interesting is restoring and improving urban infrastructure. The amount of necessary funding to fix the infrastructure in the United States is astounding. Additionally, when there is a whole additional layer of infrastructure that needs replacement that I didn't even think of (water, waste water, and solid waste).
