MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB Demonstration was the Loma Prieta Esrthquke, which happened in my hometown before I was born. It was the last major earthquake in California, powerful enough to have ripped the Bay Bridge apart. This demonstration shows that there are different ways of graphing acceleration. The first is to show East-West, North-South, and Vertical accelerations. Another is to show acceleration during a one second interval in multiple directions. Another way is to graph velocity over time. MATLAB gives us both 2D and 3D views, which is really cool.
