About me

I am a freshman in Duke's Pratt School of Engineering. I am currently an undecided engineering major. I went to high school at Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Name Pronunciation

Mitchell Hutmacher is pronounced like Mi-Chull Hut-mocker.

Grand Challenges for Engineering

The article I chose was How Salt + Car Battery = Clean Water, Jessie Rack, National Public Radio, 2 July 2015, accessed 21 September 2017 (Provide access to clean water).

MATLAB Demonstrations

My favorite demonstration that I viewed was the "Minesweeper" app. This was so interesting to me because while using MATLAB, I could not have possibly expected to be able to create something like that with it. This app truly shows the versatility of this program.
