I really liked the Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration, partially because it had a very interesting application. The demonstration involved graphing multiple data sets using the "subplot" command and manipulating those data sets to generate new plots. Many calculations were centered around taking derivatives and/or integrating functions to plot acceleration, velocity, and position functions. I liked the three dimensional plots generated that showed the earthquake's path- I think that kind of analysis is a really interesting way to dissect seemingly random, natural occurrences such as earthquakes.
