About me

Hello! My username is also my real name so that's pretty easy, right? My last name has a weird pronunciation and I am quite embarrassed to admit that even I cannot pronounce it absolutely correctly (since I possess zero fluency in Mandarin). Victoria is relatively simple to pronounce so there's that.

I like to draw tattoos on myself with sharpie pen (I'm not old enough to get a real tattoo by myself...) so if you ever see those...they're not real.

I also have a slight aversion to capital letters with the exceptions of A and Y.

Grand Challenges for Engineering Articles

The following article advocates for the importance of technology to foster learning spaces that are much more personal and thus more effective. Technology as a Passport to Personalized Education, Daphne Koller, The New York Times, 5 December 2011, 15 September 2014 (Advance Personalized Learning)

However, a more recent article points out potential issues regarding the privacy of students amidst the rapidly growing industry of education technology: With Tech Taking Over in Schools, Worries Rise, Natasha Singer, The New York Times, 14 September 2014, 15 September 2014 (Advance Personalized Learning)
