Grand Challenges

Providing Energy From Fusion

Fusion Power: Will It Ever Come?, William E. Parkins, Science magazine, 10 March 2006, 13 September (Provide energy from fusion)

Demonstrations

My favorite MatLab demonstration has to be the Earth's topography demonstration. The reason this is my favorite is because not only does it create a topographical map of the entire earth, but color codes it and creates a globe from the map. The fact that MatLab can do 3-D modeling like this is really cool. It gets me exciting to eventually learn how to do things like this.
