About Me

My name is Conner Traugot and I am a Duke student in the Pratt Engineering Class of 2018. My intended major is biomedical engineering. Previously, I attended Reading Memorial High School in Reading, Massachusetts.

Activities

I am currently on the men's club ultimate frisbee team. I used to swim and run competatively and played a little tennis as well. I was involved with Habitat for Humanity and with the Special Olympics of Massachusetts prior to coming to Duke.

MATLAB Help

The Game of Life simulation was my favorite of the demonstrations because it showed how a program like MATLAB can be applied to be a useful tool in experimentation. Previously, I was unsure of how knowing MATLAB would be applicable to a researcher but now I understand how a program like this could help to predict the outcome of experiments without having to actually perform them.
