My name is Jennifer Stencel and I lead a very exciting life. I love all of my friends. I love engineering and math. Except for multivariable calculus...that class was a struggle. All in all, I'd have to say life is pretty good here in the amazing institution that is Duke University. Namaste.

Favorite Demonstration

My favorite demonstration in the Matlab tutorial was the Klein bottle demonstration within 3-D visualization. I thought it was pretty amazing that by typing in some numbers and formulas into Matlab, you can create a three dimensional image. Moreover, I think the concepts of Klein bottles and Mobius strips are pretty fascinating. I was also intrigued by the abiliy to alter the colors of the image and, in particular, the ability to make the image transparent.
