About Me

I am a first-year student interested in studying engineering. I am not sure exactly what type yet, but I am interested in BME or mechanical. I also love to learn about different cultures and love to look at things through a "global viewpoint". Right now, I am taking a Spanish class,The Politics of Salsa and an Indian Religion class, The Epics of India. Both are very interesting! Other hobbies I enjoy include volunteering with children and playing or watching any type of sport.

Matlab Examples

The Loma Prieta Earthquake example was my favourite one in the Matlab demonstrations page because the function of analysing earthquake data is directly related to a real world application. I can see how this code would be used in a relevant application, such as graphing the trajectory of an earthquake and evaluating the earthquake's acceleration.
