Background

Hi there! I'm a freshman this year at Duke, from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm very excited to be in Pratt and to be an engineer in general. I myself am very interested in space and aerospace engineering. I'm looking forward to this year, and to hopefully learning and growing a lot.

MATLAB Demonstrations

My favorite MATLAB demonstration was easily the one on 3-D Plots. This demonstration offered instructions on several different types of 3-D plots that can be used to represent the same data in different ways. Some of the different plots were Mesh Plots, Surface Plots, Contour Plots, Quiver, and Slice. Each was unique and the graphical representation was very interesting to see. I was glad to learn MATLAB was even capable of this, because it could be very helpful.
