Background Information
Helen (Yilun) Tan was born in Shanghai, China. She moved to Montreal with her family at the age of five, and went to elementary there until fifth grade. Then, her family and her moved back to Shanghai and Helen went to school there for three years. Deciding that their daughter should go to a school in the US, Helen's parents decided to move to Vancouver so that Helen can learn English. In May 2015, Helen graduated from Burnaby Central Secondary School and embarked on an adventurous journey full of challenges and surprises. YAY!
What Helen Likes
Music
Helen loves to sing to any song. You can often hear her humming Christmas tunes (all year long!). She also enjoys playing the piano and the guitar. Helen's favourite artists: J.S.Bach, Liszt, Beethoven, Bruno Mars, Jay Chow, Debussy...
Sports
Helen loves to play badminton and tennis. (She played badminton in 102F for two hours every day over the summer-fun times). She goes to the gym at least three times a week.

Animals
Helen's favourite animals are cats and lions.
