Favorite MATLAB Demo

My favorite demo in MATLAB was the Loma Prieta Earthquake demo. The majority of the demos were simply reiterations of lessons we had learned in class or read as part of the MATLAB help section. The Loma Prieta Earthquake demo, however, showed how powerful MATLAB can be in using the basics to create complex plots and in manipulating data. Furthermore, rather than dry, meaningless examples, this demo used data from a real-life event. While there were other demos that followed that similarly applied real data, this was the first one I did, and as such it became my favorite.
