My favorite demo is the "Bending Truss" demonstration because it shows the possible applications of coding through Matlab that can be used to simulate real life situations, such as the stress that can be placed on a bridge in order to possibly test design sructures under he stress of say an earthquake, not to mention it is fun to simply mess with the animations and watch the bridge shake in sometimes ridiculous fashions.
