Introduction
This is the user page for Chenchen Feng. She is currently overworked, stressed out, and worried about school. When she will be reading this next, she will most likely still be overworked, stressed out, and worried about something or another. While stress and school are major components of Chenchen's life, she also enjoys hanging out with friends, eating, sleeping, and other normal activities. She loves being Asian and is especially disappointed in the quality of the rice provided at the Marketplace. However, the ice cream does make up for it.
Pronunciation
It is actually kind of difficult to create a phonetic pronunciation of my name. It is literally, chen-chen (think chin except replace "i" with "e") followed by feng which sounds like fung with the stress on the "u".
Homework 1: Grand Challenge
One of the themes for the Grand Challenges for Engineering is reverse engineering the brain. A really interesting article that talks about the possibility of actually being able to reverse engineer the brain can be found below.
Homework 2: MATLAB Demos
My favorite MATLAB demonstration was the 3-D Surface Plots one. Not only were the plots in pretty colors, but they also corresponded to what I am currently (attempting) to learn in my math class. It was really interesting to see what these multivariable functions actually looked like instead of trying to visualize them in my head. Additionally, it was also a nice break from matrix operations.
