My favorite MATLAB demonstration was "Viewing a Penny" because I found it fascinating that MATLAB could produce so many different graphs of a penny without ever actually looking at one.  The contour and pseudocolor plots actually look like perhaps they were drawn based on a scanned image, but they were really constructed based on calculations based on the height of the penny's surface. I never thought a plot could produce anything so vivid.  Before, I mostly only considered it to be used to plot simple graphs.

About Me

Hi my name is Mona Dai and I'm thinking about majoring in environmental engineering along with obtaining a certificate in Energy and the Environment. I'm very excited and anxious to be in Pratt! :)

Pronounciation

Mona Dai is pronounced pretty much the way it looks like, namely "MOE-nuh Dye".
