I'm Chris Rzeznik, future Biomedical Engineer reigning from the great city of Dallas, TX. Coming to Duke for me was not one of those things that I had "known all my life", but actually I merely applied to Duke on a whim. It just seemed like another good school with a relatively short supplement. I had really wanted to go to Northwestern, but after attending Blue Devil Days and the corresponding Wildcat Days, I realized that a lot of the people I met up there were pricks (not to make generalizations about anyone who came from that area), and came to Duke instead.

As far as my interests go, I'm heavily involved in music. I started playing piano at the age of 4, and now also play guitar, bass, saxophone, and drums. It's my main input to the creative world, and it keeps me sane when I'm ALREADY bogged down by the workload here. I think I'm gonna list some facts about myself in bullet form, for aesthetics and to vary it up a bit. I'm sure you, the grader, are having a blast looking at all of these pages.

So really, I’m just your average guy. I have my quirks, my pet peeves….more quirks. Anyways, I hope this page provided you with a (at least slightly) humorous respite from your other grading duties.

Generalities

THIS (and by this, I mean the reams upon reams of info listed below this statement, created for the sole purpose of giving you - the grader - as well as others some insight into my life), is my Pratt Pundit website. Enjoy :)

About Me

Sooo I'm really not sure how in-depth we're supposed to be here...so I guess I'll just expand a little bit on the topic of interest - myself.

I had really wanted to go to Northwestern, but after attending Blue Devil Days and the corresponding Wildcat Days, I realized that a lot of the people I met up there were pricks (not to make generalizations about anyone who came from that area - that was just my personal experience), and came to Duke instead.

• I haven’t seen your favorite movie

• My sense of smell is average

• I like to pretend

• I wish my body was just a little bit hairier

• I try to improve my everyday life, everyday

• If I were an animal, I’d definitely be a platypus. I like the way they look, I like the way they feel, and I like the way they touch other platypuses.

• Every program on my TV is blocked

• I give myself bug bites

• 2 lbs of raspberry Jell-O WILL kill an average house cat

• You know the guy that paints the lines in the middle of the road? Yeah – that’s me

So really, I’m just your average guy. I have my quirks, my pet peeves….more quirks. Anyways, I hope this page provided you with a (at least slightly) humorous respite from your other grading duties.

Grand Challenges Article

This is the link to my grand challenge article. I decided to post one dealing with solar energy and how to make it commercial. Citation is below.
