LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE Green Devils, Dining Team: Began implementation of visually appealing, factual stickers throughout Duke’s dining and residential buildings to promote a zero-waste culture. Establishing an alert system to notify nearby students of free food in their area, so that food consumption is maximized and waste is minimized. Zoo Atlanta, Volunteen: Extensive training focused on conservation, education, and customer service. Counselor for kids summer camp, children activities, and impacted hundreds of guest’s experience on a daily basis, increasing environmental awareness during over one hundred hours of service. Exhibit interpretation on Fulton County Free Weekends, in which over 10,000 and 13,000 guests visited the zoo. Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation Leadership Academy, Ambassador: Mentorship group of Atlanta’s highest academically achieving high schoolers. Gained leadership skills and volunteerism. Facilitated cross-cultural exchanges through ambassadorship in Nanjing, China (2016) and learned of Chinese culture/language.
