My favorite MATLAB demo is the example on 3D-Plotting. When dealing with complex three-dimensional surfaces, it can be hard to visualize their exact shapes or properties. With MATLAB's 3-D plotting functions, we are able to get a better grasp on what exactly is happening with 3-D models. These 3-D functions include changing color based on max and min values, transparency, and contour plots. With this information we can really understand how different models behave in 3-space.
