Solar Manufacturing:Not so sunny

[1], Kate Galbraith, The New York Times, created 14 January 2009, accessed 19 January 2009 (Grand Challenge)

I find found this article extremely interesting as I also, seem to be one of the many individuals whom believe that the use of solar panels is increasing and henceforth reducing the rate of global warming. Moreover, in this article manufactures of solar panels are suffering as demand is falling dramatically. In recent years installers of the rooftop solar systems have been "badgering" manufactures to ensure they were receiving enough panels for their business, due to a shortage of polysilicon used in forming the panels. What's more, installers have now reduced the quantity of panels purchased from the manufactures as a result of the recent recession.

Traveling Salesman

Having explored many MATLAB demonstrations, the 'Traveling Salesman' is most definitely my favorite. Having studied this algorithm last year as part of my Math syllabus, it allowed me to build on my current knowledge of the 'Traveling Salesperson Problem' and enabled me the understanding of applying programming methods to demonstrate this algorithm through a computer system.
