My favorite MATLAB Demonstration was the Viewing a Penny demo. I really enjoyed being able to use MATLAB to see the surface of a penny in so many different ways. Learning how to use contour lines, how to draw a pseudocolor plot, and how to draw a surface plot with a colormap was all extremely interesting to me. I also found it fascinating how MATLAB could be used to draw plots with different brightness/lighting models.

I am a member of the class of 2018 at Duke University. I'm from La Cañada, California (right next to Pasadena), and I am hoping to major in Biomedical Engineering. I have three siblings--a twin brother, an older sister, and a younger sister. I love to swim, play the piano, unicycle, and watch Netflix!

MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB Demonstration was the Viewing a Penny demo. I really enjoyed being able to use MATLAB to see the surface of a penny in so many different ways.
