About Me

Hey! I'm a freshman at Duke University and a part of the Class of 2015. I'm from Tinley Park, IL, which is a south suburb of Chicago that was voted the Best Place to Raise Your Kids in the nation in 2009. I went to VJA High School. I'm not quite sure what I want to major in yet, but I'm looking at engineering and visual arts.

Interests

In the order they come to mind...

  • Cartoons, comics, animation, and drawing
  • Puzzle games
  • Reading (mostly sci-fi/fantasy, but I'll read anything)
  • Swimming
  • Rock Climbing
  • Kayaking
  • Sleeping
  • Italian Beef Sandwiches (which I hear don't actually exist outside of Illinois)
  • Television and Movies

Name Pronunciation

My full name, Elizabeth Novaski, is pronounced "EE-liz-AH-beth" "NO-vaa-SKI". The -va- part is pronounced with an 'a' like in 'apple'. I like to go by Liz.
