Subsequently, when I use PuTTY to invoke code to run EMACS (ie: emacs lab2.tex &) the code of the EMACS program is displayed on the PuTTY command line instead within a new window. - As of now, emacs will only let me paste text that is cut/copied from text within its on script. How can I copy text from Matlab and paste it onto emacs script? Sno5 18:11, 17 September 2011 (EDT)
