About Me
My name is Jeff Reid. I am a freshman at Duke University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I grew up in Chattanooga, TN and am an only child. My interests include competitive cycling, ping pong, and pretty much anything active and/or outdoors. I love to laugh and to do things that are considered "immature" for people my age. Irony is my second language. I often spend my free time perusing The Onion, building something (a.k.a. potato guns, Legos, etc...), or going exploring in the woods.
Skills
- Learned how to burp the ABC's in 7th grade Sunday School
- Was able to pop tibia completely out of joint until half-way through puberty in 8th grade
- Can do a wheelie in a wheel chair for an extended period of time
- Can cook eggs (scrambled, fried, boiled), Pillsbury biscuits, cake (red velvet, angel flake), and brownies
- In 1st grade, placed 2nd in a race around the gym
- Am able to blow small (pea-sized) saliva bubbles off tip of tongue
