My personal favorite was the ''' Game of Life '''. This was because the idea of having a simple program to show a model of a random spray of cells in a plane and how small communities may live or die. While its logic for whether the point lives or dies is simplistic, it still allows for structures of cells to be created which can continue to repopulate small units of cells (e.g. a "glider gun"). Plus it is neat to watch.

My personal favorite was the Game of Life .
