F-Secure from F-Secure corporation contains a shell client which allows Windows and Mac machines to connect to other machines.  The shell client is often used in conjunction with X-Win 32 for working on programs with graphical user interfaces from the comfort of home.

Note that Apple users will generally use the terminal associated with X11 instead of F-Secure. OIT no longer licenses the Mac version of F-Secure.  Furthermore, most Pratt students running Windows use PuTTY instead of F-Secure for a shell client.
