Homework 2
My favorite demo from the MATLAB help is the 'Viewing a Penny' Demo. This demo shows ways to visualize a mold used to mint a penny within MATLAB using data of measurements from the National Institute of Standards. This demo is my favorite because it shows how useful MATLAB can be at modeling 3D objects. It can create contour plots and even pseudocolor plots that look like images of a real penny. Now I am beginning to understand why MATLAB is such a powerful tool for engineers.
