About Me

Family

I am the oldest of three siblings and the only daughter. My brothers are ~3 and 5 years younger than I am, respectively. I also have a dog named Kona, who turned 6 this year.
My dad is originally from Ecuador and my mom is from the mid-west. They met in college and have lived in Chicago, Boston, Miami, and the Bay Area (current) since then.

Interests

In high school I was heavily involved in dance and received a classical training in ballet, tap, contemporary, and jazz. I would like to continue with my dancing, which is why I joined a Duke dance group.
I love the outdoors and everything to do with nature. Back in California I spend a lot of my free time hiking in the Berkeley hills and Tahoe mountains. One of my recent favorites was the hike to Alamere Falls in Point Reyes.
When I have the time, I love to cook and bake. One of my aspirations is to recreate a season worth of technical challenges from the Great British Baking Show.
