I am a freshman student of the Class of 2019. I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering and attend the Pratt School of Engineering. I enjoy long walks on the beach.

Name Pronunciation

Jonah: JUH-OH-NAH; same as the guy in the Bible who got eaten by the whale.

Santiago: SAN-TEE-AH-GO; like the capital of Chile.

My favorite MATLAB demonstration was the Traveling Salesman example. What particularly stood out to me was that the program showed how MATLAB could be applied in real world applications; in this case, how a traveling salesman can minimize the cost of his trip if the cost and distance is known.
