I've always been fond of knowing the hidden secrets of the brain and how we human being, have gained the capacity to think, and think of our thoughts, as to say metacognition. Although some animals acquire this ability, such as monkeys, dolphins, or even rats, we are ahead with regards to the complexity of our brain and our thinking process.

My inspiration and idol is Leonardo Da Vinci, mostly because he was good at everything, but also because he worked to decipher the secrets of the human body and merge it into machinery, to fulfill his understanding of the way we perceive objects, move, or even develop as an embryo.

However unlike the primitive conclusions Da Vinci had on the way the human brain functioned in the Renaissance era, some contemporary projects have reached places people cannot even conceive in their minds. It is about truly exploring the human mind, how it functions, and reproducing what the human brain in capable of doing. {see the links below}

About Me

I was born in Beirut Lebanon on the 22nd of September 1997 to Lebanese parents Lina Saad and Fady Fakhoury.

My favourite colour is blue, not duke blue unfortunately, but turquoise.

Academic Aspirations

I've always been fond of knowing the hidden secrets of the brain and how we human being, have gained the capacity to think, and think of our thoughts, as to say metacognition. Although some animals acquire this ability, such as monkeys, dolphins, or even rats, we are ahead with regards to the complexity of our brain and our thinking process.

My inspiration and idol is Leonardo Da Vinci, mostly because he was good at everything, but also because he worked to decipher the secrets of the human body and merge it into machinery, to fulfill his understanding of the way we perceive objects, move, or even develop as an embryo. However unlike the primitive conclusions Da Vinci had on the way the human brain functioned in the Renaissance era, some contemporary projects have reached places people cannot even conceive in their minds. It is about truly exploring the human mind, how it functions, and reproducing what the human brain in capable of doing. {see the links below}

Non-Intelletual thoughts

I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate.

Matlab Demonstrations

My favourite Matlab Demonstration was about plotting complex numbers, and how it showed that Matlab only plots the real part of the complex number and ignores the imaginary part. It is necessary to 'extract' the real and imaginary parts of the complex numbers part of each vector, using the real and imag functions, then plot the data to plot real(z) versus imag(z).
