I played soccer and rugby competitively in high school, but I also really enjoy football and baseball. My favorite teams to watch are the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Orioles. Outside of sports, I like to read as well as go for hikes in the woods and go camping.

My favorite demonstration was the Traveling Salesman application. I thought it was very interesting to watch the Matlab program attempt to figure out how to create the most efficient route joining the cities. I also liked how programs like this have obvious real world applications in the worlds of economics, statistics, and other fields.
