Although the options were hard to choose from, I think my favorite section in the Matlab help documentation was the 2D and 3D plots under "Getting Started With Matlab," and more specifically, the 3D plots tutorial. It shows the complexity and amazing range of what Matlab can do, even with very simple coding. For example, 3D surfaces can be constructed and shown on screen by providing a function, and a meshgrid and surface plot command. Also, it looks awesome.

Matlab
