In addition to the above article, the MATLAB Demonstration of Game of Life is phenomenal! Although it wasn't the board game which I expected to see, it is a wonderful demonstration of creating a "living" graph which changes before your eyes all while monitoring itself to demonstrate how easily MATLAB can model and calculate even the most complex information.
