The World Traveler Demo is very interesting because it shows the earth as a three-dimensional surface and calculates the distance of a flight path around the sphere of earth using angular distance. I like that this demo is very interactive and allows the user not only to choose what city to designate as their takeoff point and their landing point, but it also allows the user to view different hemispheres and watch the "plane" in fight. Lastly, I like think that this demo could be greatly expanded upon to include many more cities and could be very helpful to the everyday user.

World Traveler Demo

The World Traveler Demo is very interesting because it shows the earth as a three-dimensional surface and calculates the distance of a flight path around the sphere of earth using angular distance. I like that this demo is very interactive and allows the user not only to choose what city to designate as their takeoff point and their landing point, but it also allows the user to view different hemispheres and watch the "plane" in fight. Lastly, I like think that this demo could be greatly expanded upon to include many more cities and could be very helpful to the everyday user.
