I especially liked the fminbnd function in MATLAB as it is useful in instantly optimizing functions over intervals and could be used in a wide variety of mathematical and engineering problems.

I especially liked the fminbnd function in MATLAB as it is useful in instantly optimizing functions over intervals and could be used in a wide variety of mathematical and engineering problems.
