Of all the grand challenges I am particularly interested in Reverse-Engineering of Human Brain Likely by 2030, Expert Predicts, Priya Ganapati, Wired, 08.16.10, 09.15.13 (Reverse Engineering The Brain)
Matlab Demonstrations
Of the demonstrations, I found the game of life to be very interesting. It made me ponder that an extension of such a program could mimic actual real life, like they have done recently with virtual bacteria.
