Out of all the MATLAB demos, my favorite was the Earth's Topography Demo. I thought it was interesting, since the majority of the contour plots I've seen in the past had to do with the Earth's topography. The 2-D plot looked similar to plots meteorologists use to illustrate different temperatures across the country. The demo involved a lot of what we have been learning in class, so I was able to follow the code and see how it resulted in an image. It was also helpful how the demo included both images and code. I found the M-GUI files hard to follow, since there was no visual to accompany the code.

MATLAB Demos

Out of all the MATLAB demos, my favorite was the Earth's Topography Demo. I thought it was interesting, since the majority of the contour plots I've seen in the past had to do with the Earth's topography. The 2-D plot looked similar to plots meteorologists use to illustrate different temperatures across the country. The demo involved a lot of what we have been learning in class, so I was able to follow the code and see how it resulted in an image. It was also helpful how the demo included both images and code. I found the M-GUI files hard to follow, since there was no visual to accompany the code.
