About Me

Hello, my name is Joseph Schwartz. I am a member of the Duke University Class of 2025. I am from Salisbury, Maryland. I am very excited to have an awesome four years at Duke!

I really enjoy playing tennis, playing the saxophone, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. My favorite tennis player is undoubtedly Rafael Nadal.

Name Pronounciation

My name is pronounced the way you likely expect it to be: Joe-Sef (Joseph) and Sh-Warts (Schwartz). My last name is just 1 letter short of tying the record for the longest syllable in the English language (losing out to "stretched," "screeched," and a few others).

Class Schedule (Fall 2021)

I am currently taking EGR101, EGR103, CHEM201, and MATH122.

You'll learn plenty about these in CHEM201.

Projects

I'm currently working on a small-scale replica of SpaceX's Starship in Fusion 360. Outside of that, schoolwork dominates my free time.
