From all of the MATLAB tutorial demonstrations that I watched, I would say that my favorite one was the Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration. This tutorial loads data from an earthquake that occurred in Santa Cruz Mountains in 1989 to use for analysis. From there, the data is used to plot a plethora of graphs that help visualize the data. This tutorial was my favorite because of the direct correlation it provides to the real world. This demonstration took actual data and manipulated it in an interesting way, showing us one of the more practical and real-life uses of MATLAB.
