My favorite demo from the examples in Matlab was Minesweeper(xpbombs). I never thought how those simple games were coded, and I was surprised to see that minesweeper can be coded using Matlab. It wasn't very enjoyable playing the game, since each move was extremely laggy, but I was intrigued by the coding and use of matrices that goes into programming such a basic game.
